Visiting a Guitar Factory, Dancing to the "Tuna" and Attending the Last Evening Meetup with the Mentors
What the Salamanca Academy did today: This morning, students had Cultural Exploration Class which consisted of a board game workshop.
After lunch, students completed their surveys about their experience in the Salamanca Academy. During the afternoon, we attended a guided tour of “Guitarras Marce”, a guitar factory here in Salamanca. We learned about the history of the factory as well as the procedure of building a Spanish guitar, and even got to collaborate in each step of the process! At the end of the tour, the "Tuna" payed us a visit and sang some songs to which students danced.
After an early dinner at home, students had their last meet-up with the mentors and the Spanish Ambassadors in the city center. They were able to have tapas, go shopping or enjoy some ice cream in the Plaza Mayor.
