Salud, Ça va, and Settling in at SMC!

June 26, 2019

Language: French
Location: Saint Michael’s College

What the French Academy did today: Today, students took a crash course in introductory French and refreshed on what they knew from classes back home. At lunch, the kids could be seen testing out new vocabulary over a yummy lunch of lasagna, garlic bread, and assorted vegetables! A few were even singing songs that they learned during Karaoke time with RA Delaney last night!

After lunch, the students relaxed during free time and then participated in fun activities like tie-dying shirts and playing a game of “boule!” This evening, they’ll play classic board games in-language and bond over evening snack time. It’s awesome to see them all settle in, form connections, and communicate!
