Middlebury Interactive Languages’ Spanish I course was nominated for a 2012 CODiE award by the Software & Information Industry Association. As one of four finalists in a coveted Best Instructional Solutions category, Middlebury was recognized for its innovative approach for reaching K-12 learners. This was the second time in 6 months that the company had been recognized for excellence by the technology industry. Middlebury Interactive Languages CEO Jane Swift served on the Recommendations for Education and Advancement of Learning (REAL) Commission, which has set the digital education agenda for the nation. The REAL Commission Report, released on April 27th, 2012, focuses on learning tailored to the individual while prioritizing achievement, affordability and access.
