A blended learning curriculum designed to help close the achievement gap for English Language Learners.
An estimated 4.6 million English Language Learners comprise the fastest growing student population in the United States. Contrary to common assumption, the majority of ELLs, both in elementary and secondary schools, are native-born U.S. citizens. ELL students come from very different linguistic and sociocultural backgrounds and face varied challenges in school.
Middlebury Interactive's supplemental blended learning ELL courses are aimed at improving students’ academic outcomes and narrowing the achievement gap between ELL students and their non-ELL counterparts. Read our white paper that discusses the pedagogical approach to developing this ELL curriculum.
