What the Nantes Academy did today:

Today the students danced at the Morning Assembly, as a way to wake up and start the day with cheer. We talked about our adventures at the Puy du Fou theme park the previous day, where students saw Vikings and Musketeers come to life, and experienced Lapérouse’s last exploration as well as a love story set in World War I.

They unanimously declared the Puy du Fou their favorite experience at the Academy so far. Not to mention the surprise we had kept until the morning: a live screening of the Soccer World Cup within the park!

In their respective language classes, they discussed local culinary traditions, which was great way to work out an appetite for lunch! The afternoon started with their Cultural Exploration Class of the week and was followed by a bus trip to get a guided visit of the LU Museum. There the students discovered the history of the famous biscuit company, learned why certain snacks are shaped the way they are and bought a lot of goodies to bring home.

They will have a bit of down time to rest before dinner and tonight is a movie night, with the screening of Le Petit Nicolas.
