We love our beautiful community in Middlebury, Vermont—an amazing place to live, work, eat, drink, have fun and raise a family—and it looks like we're not the only ones. Outside Magazine readers recently selected Middlebury as a finalist in The 16 Best Places to Live in America: 2015.

With affordable housing, great jobs, and endless outdoor adventures at your doorstep, locals really do live a charmed existence here. Middlebury College offers cultural and athletic events throughout the school year and, in the summer, locals can enjoy community events such as the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, Woodchuck Ciderfest and Addison County Fair and Field Days.

For a taste of the city, Burlington—the home of our Chinese and French summer language Academies—is just an hour drive to the north and offers an abundance of fantastic restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities on the shores of Lake Champlain.
