What the Salamanca Academy did today:
On this sunny day both the American and Spanish students partook in several different activities of their choosing. First they had a Latino Dancing class. And though some danced better than others some may have felt a bit awkward and unsure of themselves but interesting nonetheless.
Afterwards, they had the option of doing yoga or football, as well as handcrafts or grammar club. Yoga was a bit diificult at times and at other times so peaceful one could fall asleep. This allows the students to relax their bodies and minds after such a busy day. Many students played football where they had a chance to compare talent between both teams. Handcrafts involving making bracelets and keychains allows for tapping into one’s creative side while grammar club gives students a chance to learn more about the structure of the Spanish language.
