Crêpes & Farewell Party!
Bonjour de Nantes,
A sweet nostalgia took possession of the Summer Academy as we are coming so close to the end of the program. And students are making the most of their last few days!
On Monday evening students had a Tahitian evening. They learned how to dance the Tahitian traditional dance with dancers and had so much fun!
What would be a stay in Nantes without some crêpes and galettes?! It is a speciality of Nantes’ and a caterer came on campus to cook us some! It was a dinner of build-your-own crêpes and galettes. Students even made their very own crepes. It was a successful evening followed by a farewell party. A great way to conclude the Academy!
On Thursday morning (the last full day), we had our very last morning assembly where students graduated from the Nantes Summer Academy and had feedback on their great accomplishments. The whole staff is very proud of everyone and we wanted to congratulate them for doing such a great job during these past four weeks!
The last day ended up with a visit to a musical festival in the city center. Students were invited backstage and enjoyed a sweet summer evening with a picnic, some music, and a lot of fun!
Do not forget to read our last blog post with the best moments and photos of the Academy!
