Already a week of adventure in Nantes!
We cannot believe one week of the program is already over. And what a wonderful end of week 1 we had!
After having some fun on our first day-trip on Saturday, students woke up Sunday morning for a new promising day of adventures. Despite the grey weather in the morning, they enjoyed a cruise on one of Nantes’ river: l’Erdre. This part of the city is very peaceful and taking a boat is a great way to observe the mansions and castles along the river!
On the afternoon, the sun was back and we took advantage of it to play in the campus’ park. Our amazing RA’s organized a big session of le jeu de l’oie, a massive outdoor board game with different activities. Those included: sack race, French tongue twister, time’s up, French-American history knowledge questions, and bobbing for apples.
The students loved the games and the afternoon ended up with a water battle!
Stay tuned for our next post which will include a scavenger hunt in Nantes’ city centre, an introduction to traditional dances from Britanny and some singing!
We hope you enjoy these amazing pictures as much as we do!
